Context
Our client is a large organisation providing ICT services to various entities. To ensure the
structured and reliable delivery of infrastructure projects, we are looking for an experienced
IT Infrastructure Project Manager.
You combine a traditional project management approach with a strategic mindset, ensuring
that technical projects align with the organisation’s broader objectives and long-term vision.
Your Role
As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you are responsible for managing infrastructure
projects from initial analysis through to final delivery. You provide structure, lead technical
teams and identify opportunities to automate and optimise processes. Throughout each
project, you maintain a strategic overview and ensure alignment with the organisation’s
overall direction.
Your Responsibilities
• Manage infrastructure projects end to end, including scope, planning, budget, risks,
quality and progress monitoring.
• Lead, guide and motivate technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and clear
objectives.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimise processes where they add value.
• Maintain a strategic overview of the organisation and align projects with its broader
objectives.
• Report to and coordinate with steering committees, clients and other stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical professionals and senior
management.
Your Profile
Must-haves
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a strong background in
infrastructure projects using a traditional project management approach.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to position projects within the broader
organisational context.
• Fluency in both Dutch and French, spoken and written.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in process automation and optimisation.
• Experience working in a large organisation or the public sector.
• Project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Knowledge of infrastructure domains such as networking, servers, cloud and IT
security.
