Data Governance Specialist

The Central Data Governance team of the client is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to

strengthen the team. In this role, you will play a key part in the structuring, management, and

implementation of our Data Governance program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of the Data Governance framework (Business Glossary,

Business Lineage, Data Quality).

• Collaborate with various Business, IT, and Data stakeholders to align needs, harmonize

decisions, and propose concrete solutions.

• Challenge existing practices to improve data quality, transparency, and traceability, while

respecting business constraints.

• Ensure compliance within your domain with key regulations, such as BCBS239 and Solvency

II, by aligning your scope with internal and external requirements.

• Translate Data Governance principles into operational reality.

Profile:

• You are able to structure an approach, convince others, and bring your stakeholders along

with you.

• You are comfortable leading strategic discussions and know how to move from theory to

action.

• You are pragmatic: you respect decisions made in the past and actively look for areas of

improvement.

• You are an excellent communicator, autonomous, and results-oriented.

• You have a good understanding of Data Governance principles and are willing to become an

expert in this field within the specific context of the client.

Additional Advantages:

• You already have experience in the Risk Modeling domain.

• You have previous experience in the data domain.

• You establish contact easily, are comfortable interacting with different stakeholders, and

know how to convince them.

• You have knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BCBS239, Solvency II, or equivalent

frameworks.

• You are bilingual (French/Dutch) and have a good command of English.
